I love browsing the new arrivals section at Funzze to see all the latest sex toys they’re offering. Not only are they surprisingly high-quality and enjoyable products for a white-label retailer (so much so that they dominated last year’s Top 10 Sex Toys), but they are also some of the cheapest on the market. So when I recently saw they had launched a new range of glass toys, my first impression was one of excitement, especially when I noticed their Glass Tentacle dildo, a style I have been wanting to review for a long time. But… after this initial reaction, I hesitated. Even though I regularly talk about glass sex toys and how safe they are, I have actually only reviewed a few, and that was some time ago. Funzze’s options, to make matters even more uncertain, are made of borosilicate glass, yet are not annealed. I ended up doing a lot of research, and you can probably guess the outcome…

As a fan of Honey Play Box’s Joi (so much so I even gave one away last year!), it’s been exciting to see this now award-winning vibrator get the love it deserves. And with the US-based brand unsurprisingly capitalising on this success, a number of follow-up toys have since been added to what is now the Joi collection. I wanted so badly to get my hands on either the Joi Pro or Joi Thrust when they first came out, with the former including a remote control and the latter offering thrusting and app compatibility, but prior obligations meant I was unable. So I bided my time, and after my reviews of the OLY 2 and RORA 2 a few months ago, I knew a similar version of the Joi with advanced capabilities couldn’t be far off. And I was right, because here I am now with the new Honey Play Box Joi Thrust 2.

For such a cute sex toy, the OSUGA Cuddly Bird sure had a lot of drama attached to it. So much so that when I reviewed it back in 2021, I had to do a deep dive into figuring out who actually made this toy, something you think would be easy. Luckily, it just so happened to be the brand I had agreed to review it for, and since then it has been a pleasure to watch OSUGA flourish, despite what could have very easily been seen as a regrettable venture into the sex industry for the Chinese company. Rather, they’ve continued to push the boundaries when it comes to mixing aesthetics with pleasure, and I’m always amazed at the unique designs they release. So, when they recently got back in touch and asked if I wanted to review their quirky new Flow vibrator, I was immediately hooked.

My favourite sex toy trend this year so far has to be the rise of the slim vibe. These kinds of toys have always been around, whether for beginners, those who struggle with penetration, or just for people who simply prefer them. But until now they haven’t really been highlighted, instead relegated to the back of the shelf just in case someone happens to ask. Not to mention that many of them have a medical, rather than pleasure, spin, and whilst there is certainly still a place for these, it doesn’t need to be the standard. Recognising this fact, brands like AROSUM, whom I spoke about in my recent guide on Vaginal Tightness, are now meeting the demand, and consumers have been showing just how hungry they were for pleasure-focused vibrators with a reduced girth. After ten years of reviewing sex toys, I often feel like I’ve seen it all. And if I am excited about a new product, it is usually only because of its brand reputation. So when Peepshow Toys got in touch recently and asked if I wanted to review a toy I’d never heard of before, I immediately dismissed it. Since I’m just one person, I can only review so many products, and as I was already in the middle of reviewing the Njoy Disco and Swan Maximum Bullet for them, I knew I would sadly need to turn whatever it was down. Well, never have I changed my mind so fast! Because once I actually clicked on Peepshow’s link to see what The Orb Vibrator was, I was instantly sold. Turns out I hadn’t seen it all after all!
